What is MYSY Scholarship ?

MYSY Scholarship is given to the students who have passed 10th standard or 12th Science & General Stream (Commerce & Arts). This scholarship has been given by the gujarat education department.

Like any other scholarships MYSY also have some eligibility criteria for which you must be eligible. There are several information that you should know and you wont find it in official portal easily about MYSY Scholarship which is given here.

Recently Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat published notification about the MYSY scholarship for the year 2020 and 2021. This advertisement was published in various newspapers of gujarat. The Advertisement is for the candidates who recently passed out from std.10th and 12th and have taken admission in Diploma/Degree Programs or the students who took admission in DtoD course.

How to apply for the scholarship at https://mysy.guj.nic.in ?

To Apply For the Scholarship First you have to do online registration on mysy website and then you can apply by doing login anytime you want.

First of all you have to do online registration which you can do by going on below given link.

  • To Do registration you first have to open this registration portal : Registration.
  • Then fill up the form and Click on Get Password.
  • Remember the password you got.
  • Now Follow Below given steps to Apply For Fresh/Renewal/Delayed MYSY Scholarship.

Online Application procedure for the year 2020-21 is arranged at https://mysy.guj.nic.in. If you are new registrar, you have to Do registration first by following above given steps and then apply online by below given steps.

  1. First of all open https://mysy.guj.nic.in.
  2. Now look at the menu and select Login/Register for year 2020-21.
  3. Then Click on the Fresh Applications Button.
  4. Enter asked details.
  5. Enter the OTP for mobile number verification.
  6. Fill up online form and upload marksheet.
  7. Apply only if you are eligible for the scholarship in the first place. (Eligibility criteria is explained below)
  8. Done

1) Income Certificate

For The Income Certificate, You Just Need To Take Print Out Of the Income Certificate And Stick Your Passport Size Photo On the Form, And Fill Up Basic Information Like Your Name, City, District, Annual Income, And Some Document Which Is Already Mentioned In The Income Certificate. After That You Need To Visit Mamltdar office Of Your Area And Request To Authority Office For stamp And Sing On This Form.

What are the eligibility criteria for MYSY Scholarship ?

Who Can Get MYSY Scholarship ?

  • 10th Pass Candidates who takes admission in Diploma Courses.
  • 12th Pass Science Stream Candidates.
  • 12th Pass General Stream Candidates.
  • Candidates who has taken admission From Diploma to Degree Courses (DtoD)

There are some criteria for which you have to be eligible in order to receive financial aid through MYSY. Here we have listed MYSY Eligibility criteria 2020 – 21.

Universal Criteria 

Total Yearly Income of your Family must be equal or less then 6,00,000 INR. To Prove that you must get family yearly income certificate. The Income certificate will be eligible for 3 Years. You don’t have to get issue of new certificate for 3 years.

Eligibility For 10th Pass / SSC Pass / Metric Pass Students

If you have passed out from 10th standard and seeking for this scholarship then you have to match following criteria.

  • To Get admission in Diploma Courses after 10th you must have achieved minimum 80 percentile or more in 10th board exams.

Eligibility For 12th Pass Science/Commerce/Arts Students

  • The Students who has passed 12th Science or General Stream Board Exams and took admission in graduation level courses Can get the benefits of MYSY Scholarship.
  • Candidates Must have achieved minimum 80 Percentile in their 12th General or Science Stream Exams.

Eligibility For D-to-D Candidates

  • Students who have completed their Diploma Course and taken admission in Degree Program Can get This Scholarship.
  • Candidate must have achieved Minimum 65% Marks in their Diploma Course To Be eligible for this MYSY Scholarship.

 

What Benefits Will be Provided Through MYSY ?

For the financially weak students, studying in a graduation level courses can be very hard because everything cost a money. The student may have able to pay the tuition fees but if he/she gets admission in other cities then hotel and food expense can be very expensive if they don’t get admission in government facilities.

Also the Cost of Graduation level books is high and some of the instruments used in learning and teaching of the courses can cripple your financial situation.

That’s why if you are bright student and wants to become graduate no matter how many hurdles are there, Gujarat Government is helping you to achieve it.

Government is providing the financial Aid for mainly 3 things.

  1. Tuition Fees
  2. Hostel & Food
  3. Books & Instruments

 

1. Help in Tuition fee

  • For Medical & Dental Students :
    • Students can get 50% amount of the Total annual Tuition fee or 2,00,000 whichever is less as a tuition fees for medical and dental students who have gotten admission in government approved self finance colleges.
  • For admission in Engineering/Technology, Pharmacy, Architecture, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Ayurved, Homeopathy, Paramedical or Veterinary :
    • For Admission in above listed Graduate Level program in Government Approved self finance colleges, candidate is eligible for 50% of the approved annual tuition or 50,000/- , whichever is less.
  • For General Steam Students :
    • For admission in BSc, B.Com., B.A., B.B.A. or BCA Graduate Level program in Government Approved self finance colleges, Candidate is eligible for 50% of the approved annual tuition fee or 10,000/- , whichever is less.
  • For Diploma Candidates :
    • For admission in Diploma courses in Government Approved self finance Institutes, Candidate is eligible for 50% of the approved annual tuition or 25,000/- , whichever is less.

 

2. Hostel & Food Support

Sometimes students cant get admission in their own city / taluka for some reasons so they have to live in hostels or rent a house. MYSY provides financial support for those students also.

  • If candidate cant get admission in government hostels or in grant in aid hostels because of low merit or other reasons, they can get rs 1200 per month for minimum 10 months as a financial aid.
  • This is for the students who didn’t get admission in their native / residential town or taluka stated institutions only.

 

3. Books & Instruments Support

Bachelor level Medical, Dental Rs. 10,000 / – and in Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, Architecture Rs. 5,000 / – and Rs. 3,000 / – once in the first year Diploma and assistance is available till the prescribed period of graduation course.

Online Registration Process For Freshers Application

As we mentioned above, the freshers need to apply online for the mysy through the official website mysy.guj.nic.in. Here we have written step by step guide.

  2. Find Out Login / Registration For 2020-21 Option.
  3. Open Application Form For Fresher Candidates.
  4. Open First Time Registration Form.
  5. Select Admission After. Board / University, Stream, Passing Year, And Admission Year.
  6. Then Enter Seat / Enrollment Number, Birth Date, And Mobile Number.
  7. After That, Press The Get Password Button.
  8. Your Password Will Be Sent On Your Mobile Number.
  9. After That, Goto Login / Registration For 2020-21 Option.
  10. Re-Enter Your Admission After, Board / University, Passing Year, Admission Year, Seat / Enrollment Number, And Password.
  11. Press The Login Button.
  12. Scholarship Form Will Open Your Screen.
  13. Fill Up The Application Form And Upload Required Document.
  14. After That, Press The Final Submit Button.

  2. Find Out Login / Registration For 2020-21 Option.
  3. Open Application Form For Renewal Candidates.
  4. Select Admission After, Board / University, Stream, Passing Year, Scholarship Application Year, And Enter The Seat / Enrollment Number And Login Password.
  5. After That, Press The Login Button.
  6. The Renewal Application Form Will Appear On Your Screen.
  7. Fill Up The Application Form And Upload Required Document.
  8. After That, Press The Final Submit Button.

 

Good News For Renewal Students

MYSY Press Note For Renewal Student

Recently Press Note Released By MYSY Department, For The Renewal Candidate Do Not Require To Visit Help Center And Verify Their Document. Due To COVID-19 Government Released Press Note Only For Renewal Application. The Last Date For Renewal Student Is 31 December 2020 So, Submit Your Online Application Form Before The Last Date.

 

MYSY Scholarship Status For Fresher and renewal (Student Login)

To know the application and scholarship status candidates have to login to the student status section of mysy.gujarat.gov.in.

  • First of all open mysy.guj.nic.in.
  • Go on student status option from the menu bar.

  • Now select standard first.
  • Then select your education board From (CBSE, GSEB, ICSE, NIOS, IB) boards.
  • Click on the option from FRESH and RENEWAL as per your status.
  • Select the stream from science and general.
  • Select the passing year.
  • Now Enter your seat number and password and then press on “GET Student Details”.
  • That’s It.

What if you get error “You are not allowed to login for this years scholarship” ?

What to do if your document upload status shows pending or Not Uploaded ?

If the student is shown any document pending in it, upload the document showing the pending status on the link of check status of your application status without unlocking the student’s application and only after verifying the same pending document at the help-center will show the student in UPLOAD AND VERIFIED green color. After that, the student does not need to do any further PROCESS even if the application shows sanctioned by commissioner pending because in the application sanctioned by commissioner DONE will show the student PENDING DOCUMENT UPLOAD AND VERIFIED in green color in approximately 15-20 days.

 

Important Instructions For Aadhaar Linking To Your Bank Account

Lots Of Candidates Having Question  On How To Link Aadharcard To Bank Account? Because In MYSY Scholarship, Aadhar Card Should Be Linked To Candidates Banks Account. Without This Candidates Cant’t Receive Scholarship Amount. So, Link Your Aadharcard With Help Of Below Instructions.

When MYSY Scholarship Amount will be credited to the bank account ?

The student’s MYSY Scholarship amount will be credited to his bank account in approximately 25-30 days after the application sanctioned by the commissioner shows DONE if the bank account is linked to Aadhar card but if the bank account of the student is not linked to Aadhar card then it will take another approximately 20-25 days.

 

What to do if the amount of assistance to the student is less?

The student should contact the department in which he / she belongs.

Where to do document verification after the online application ?

  • After the online application of MYSY students have to do the document verification at the help centers. The list of help centers is available in mysy.guj.nic.in under the list of help centers option.

 

Which type of bank account details student can submit ?

Because the Amount of scholarship directly being credited to the bank account, students have to submit the bank account details and the account must be linked to the adhaar card.

If the student’s age is less then 18 years then he/she have to open the joint account with their parents in which the first name of the accountant should be the student’s name.

If the amount of scholarship is more then 50,000 INR, student can not submit the JAN DHAN ACCOUNT Details because the maximum limit in jandhan account is 50k.

  1. Last year I submitted my 4th sem regular exam and i failed in one subject now I pass that subject by 3 attempts. Did I get mysy for 2year (3-4 sem) back??

  2. I’m applying for renewal. Is it necessary that income certificate & IT return should have exactly same amount of income. As I have income certificate issued in October,2019 and IT return for the year 2020-21. Please reply.
